Ways To Help A Throbbing Tooth

Our teeth are precious parts of our bodies.  When we are children our parents will tell us to brush our teeth before we go to bed and like most of us, we just don’t do what we are told.  As a result over time our teeth will begin to decay and fall out.  Most parents will refer to this as having your teeth rot out of your head.

When this happens we will begin to experience pain in our teeth, gums and overall mouth.  At times this can be a stabbing pain that just doesn’t seem to go away.  One of the bigger options that you can do when this occurs is look into dental implant surgery Bakersfield.  With dental implants we are removing your natural teeth and replacing them with false teeth.  Although this is an extreme solution, in many severe situations this is the only option.

However, if your teeth haven’t gotten to that point, here are a few options that you can use.

Saltwater

Take some warm water and pour in some salt.  You will want to stir the salt into the water until it dissolves.  From there you want to take the saltwater and sip some of it until it fills your mouth halfway.  Then with a swishing motion move the saltwater around your mouth until it starts to lessen the pain of the tooth.  After a few seconds spit the water into the sink and repeat the process.  Don’t swallow the water.

Oregano

One trick that I have personally found that works well is oregano.  With oregano you can grind it up in your hand and then take a small pinch of it and rub it around the tooth and gum that is soar.  From there let the oil in the oregano seep into your gums dulling the pain.
